Originally, from Texas and after winning multiple awards for showing steers, Amber sought new heights in Kentucky. There she became a friend of a Dog Grooming Instructor where she discovered her natural talent and love for grooming dogs. Though she wanted to pursue this dream, she lacked adequate funds to attend Nash Academy of Animal Arts. Passionate about animals, she stuck around to watch and help with bathing and grooming where needed. Luckily, Vivian Nash saw her talent and compassion that she gave her a full scholarship to her dream school. Upon completing her studies, Amber worked as one of the Nash Academy Grooming Instructors and later moved to a vet clinic in pursuit of her dream career.
Amber possesses exceptional scissoring skills, and perfectly grooms and handles cats as well as grooming and hand scissoring dogs to perfection. She also has a deep understanding of recognizing and resolving health issues, skin issues, and emergency situations. Amber has recently partnered with Tolli to establish Uptown Pooch Parlor, a mobile dog and cat grooming business. Together, their love for animals, passion, talent, and experience combined with state of the art equipment guarantees you high quality work, customer satisfaction, and reliability!

Tolli’s passion for animals is so much that she wanted to be a dog when she grew up! At the age of 11, she enrolled at Animal Services for a summer camp that trained and worked with shelter dogs. With time, Tolli gained exceptional skills at recognizing the body language and temperament of dogs and taught other kids how to train their dogs. She also worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility where she gained quality socializing skills. In 2013, Tolli got her first job as a Dog Bather. Passionate about animals and determined to be an Animal Instructor, Tolli mastered the art of taking care of dogs. Through a friend’s advice, she enrolled and attended the top school for dog grooming in the nation, Nash Academy of Animal Arts. While there, she learned how to groom each dog breed appropriately including the proper ways to de-shed a Labrador. Upon graduating, she worked for a small vet clinic and a few other shops.
